elindra SG Yeah HSBC has quite a sleazy reputation I dun really like them and MPB doesn't like them either I just posted my WoW account for sale I want a quick sale
viciouskitty74 SG I did. My now delima is: Pay up and live for the next 7 years with this black mark hovering over me. Or pay up slowly like what I am doing now and live with this black mark hoevering over me for the next 7 years. And if I really KO within the next 7 years. The banks has to content with whatever they already has out of me.
hisoka SG they would wham it out of your estate anyway. and the best part is they get first digs after the govt
av98m SG when I got a cold call from them offering me a line of credit that was what I told the the guy on the phone. politely of course.
viciouskitty74 SG They cant, because I got insurance. its the same insurance cover that comes with that credit card.
av98m SG There's such a thing as half-blown cancer? doctor's diagnosis not enough? which insurance company was this
hisoka SG if i read the terms of cover for most of those insurance policies right, it normally takes pretty late stage cancer to qualify for their payments and i think it would normally mean you won't have much time to use the money anyway
Fatum SG last time before I left for overseas, I went to HSBC to open a student's account ... the chap there told us that we can get better deals at OCBC or UOB, and suggested that we go there instead .... I think the chap was just lazy ....
KittynMeow SG better yet... write a letter to the newspapers forum page too.... insisting the bank answer why are they endorsing such harrassment tactics to customers who don't want the service.
Fatum SG rubbish ... it's like last time I was in suzhou .... I went to a bank to exchange some sing dollars ... they just tell me to go down the road to another bank ..... they were not closed or anything .... but it's just that the employees of the state owned bank was lazy ....
viciouskitty74 SG You know..... When they raised the minimum limit of the savings account....thats when the trend surfaced that banks prefers big $$$ customers that uses their investment services instead of just depositing $$$ to earn interest.
hisoka SG prob because in those services they banks get as big a cut and the customers are the ones takign the risk
Fatum SG the $2 service charge is a way of telling you that the banks doesn't want small potatoes ...
Fatum SG banks ... insurance companies ... law firms ... they are all bracketed into the same place in my mind ....
